Two female artists come together in this exhibition and both are excellent in their respective media. Flore Joris is Belgian but studied Fine Arts in Paris; this is evident in her works, which to my way of thinking go beyond an interest in shape and purely ceramic material to become small but perfect sculptures. Her subjects are often horses, acquiring a rare beauty in her hands, because F. Joris has captured the movement of these animals, which she also sometimes ennobles with riders from ancient civilizations. The finish is perfect in both her main subject and her human figures and other creations, with well-defined colours, sometimes with a sumptuous golden shine.

As for Dorothy Molloy, she is Irish and an exceptional artist…
